Merry Christmas 2025!
Merry Christmas! I didn't get to doing my usual Christmas card this year. We have all really enjoyed seeing everyone's Christmas cards and letters, and hope to do a photo one again next year that includes our newest bundle of joy, set to be born in early January! We have been preparing for, and excitedly anticipating her arrival.
Like many, this December has been filled with a lot of lovely family time, and periodic illnesses. Clark had a great long stretch of no LHSC emerg visits because of fever...until this month. Thankfully most symptoms have been mild and he has not had to be admitted (so far), but hoping that once little sis arrives we can ride out the rest of cold and flu season without anything too serious...I mean, we must be somewhat immune now to influenza and whatever the current virus is (Clark, Oliver and I got home in the middle of the night last night...this post could get a bit unhinged - kidding). Clark's treatment continues to go relatively well. He is loving school and continued forest school one day a week this fall in London - which was amazing. Hoping to start again in the spring! Oliver is loving day care (although still working on being okay with mom or dad leaving in the morning). He has enjoyed getting out on the trails around town, both with new friends and his day care buddies! He is getting used to the idea of going to JK in September (I'm also getting used to it)!
John and I are celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary today! Our celebration is not looking to be as we planned, but the Keg or Eddington's take out is pretty great. Won't lie, it's been a challenging year in some ways but excited to celebrate together today.
We have a lot to be thankful for this year and are so appreciative of our friends and family for the support, check-ins, hosting of gatherings and generous Christmas gifts!! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and the very best to you and your loved ones in 2026!
